Shanna is an industry expert in revenue cycle management, with 15 years of experience working for private practices, hospitals, and universities. She is an AAPC Certified Professional Biller™ and currently serves as an Operations Director for a functional medicine wellness practice.

Shanna earned her Bachelor's degree in Psychology from The New School in New York, NY. In addition to healthcare management, she works in psychology research, studying the intersection of identity, technology, gender, relationships, and mental health.

Starting in Autumn, Shanna will be a graduate student at the University of Washington in Seattle, WA. She’s earning her Master of Science in Human Centered Design and Engineering. Her academic interests are psychology, technology, and human wellness.

When she’s not working, Shanna enjoys traveling, spending time in nature, and taking care of her kitten, Belle.
